My artwork is called Tessa’s Leap. It's a colored pencil picture of my friend taking a leap into a calm lake on a dark night when the moon is shining bright on the beautiful lake. I chose to do this project because I like drawing people doing cool things and capturing them in the moment. I chose to do a lake as the background because my favorite place is my lake and I love going there in the summer and watching the waves in the water move and watching them splash on the beach. I chose to draw a picture of my friend so I could capture the beauty of her and the magical talent of her dancing.
